About us
The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes. The School has forged a reputation for world-leading research and teaching in the areas of innovation management, the creation and growth of technology-intensive organisations, business analytics, and entrepreneurship.
The 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) rated the majority of the research outputs of the UCL School of Management as “world-leading” or “internationally excellent”; at 95%, this was the second highest percentage of any business school in the UK.
This is an exciting time to join the UCL School of Management as it is embarking on a significant expansion plan which will see it deliver on a new strategy to double in size over the next five years. An increase in degree programmes and staff will ensure that we continue our mission to deliver the next generation of socially conscious entrepreneurial leaders, who will tackle the world’s greatest challenges.
About the role
Under the direction of the Academic Planning Coordinator and working closely with the Teaching and Learning Manager, the post holder will provide administrative support to the teaching and learning activities across the School, ensuring effective systems are in place, procedures are documented and adopted and UCL regulations and policies are adhered to. This post will assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to students and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. In particular, the role will provide support for extenuating circumstances, timetabling and student administration processes for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The post holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within UCL, thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a flexible approach to work are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.
