Description of Position:

The role holder will be responsible for leading the qualitative phase of a research project on understanding attitudes towards, and community engagement with, the net zero agenda. Specifically, this phase will examine what interventions are needed at the local level to address inequalities in the ability of people and communities to transition to low carbon living in West London. The role holder will be responsible for designing and developing the qualitative interview protocol for the data collection (n=30), conducting the interviews online, transcribing and analysing and visualising the data, interpreting the findings in relation to prior literature and providing recommendations on specific interventions that are needed at the local level to address inequalities in the ability of people and communities to transition to low carbon living. The role holder will also collaborate with the research assistant(s) helping with the other phases of the project (e.g., quantitative).

We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.

Closing date for applications: Thursday, March 28 2024 [Midnight]

Interviews will take place online on the 11th of April 2024.
