The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences is seeking to appoint a Senior Student Programmes Administrator to work within our Partnerships Team. This team provides dedicated support for all degree programmes being delivered in partnership with UK and overseas partners including industrial partners and overseas education providers. This is a strategic area of growth for the University and provides great opportunities for those involved.
You will be responsible for delivering the operational and administrative processes that support these programmes, including responding to complex queries and accurate and timely student record management and responding to complex queries. Your growing knowledge and understanding of transnational education will support stakeholders in receiving data and information aimed at enhancing programme delivery.
Reporting to the Student Programmes Manager (Partnerships), you will work closely with academic colleagues within the College and partner institutions, as well as with professional services colleagues across the institution, to ensure that the highest levels of support are provided to the students registered on the programmes.
You must be an effective communicator with strong networking, planning and organisational skills. You should also have a keen eye for detail, a proven track record of meeting deadlines and the ability to apply complex University regulations. Administrative responsibilities would also include project work to support the enhancement of office processes, reporting to Departmental committees on college procedures and administrative support as well as the organisation of and minute writing for key committees.
Whilst not essential, knowledge of transnational educational programmes could be an advantage.
Experience of using key University systems such as OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SITS and e-Vision would be highly beneficial.
