Senior Officer – Programmes and Registry (Based at GCU London)

GCU London is the London-based campus of Glasgow Caledonian University, where an exciting opportunity has now arisen to join the team as a Senior Officer. The role will provide leadership to London’s programmes and registry based administrative team, ensuring that key systems and procedures are in place to support the campus operations and maintain an excellent student experience. The team you will lead provide support to academic colleagues, including student assessment boards, programme boards and advice on programme regulations, as well as also being very much student-focused, providing support to registration, induction and throughout the student journey up to graduation.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or have considerable relevant experience at a similar level.  Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for the role, as well as the ability to provide expert guidance and advice to staff (academic and professional support) and students. Whilst experience of working in higher education is helpful, it is not essential for the role. Being agile to the needs of the team and campus is particularly important, as well as helping to identify systems and process improvements.
