About the post
We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering for a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate. We are looking for independent researchers who have demonstrated their ability to perform and ideally publish high quality research. If you are passionate about bioscience and next-generation therapies that transform the way that disease is treated, then we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will be part of a 16 company, 2 university consortium, funded by Innovate UK. The Flue2CHEM project is a high-profile project that aims to produce surfactant FMCG products from captured carbon dioxide from a number of emission sources. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other team members including Caledonian Paper Mills (UPM) in Irvine, Scotland to commission and run the pressure-swing capture system both remotely and on-site and to deliver liquified carbon dioxide to other project partners.
