Description of Post

The post relates primarily to the teaching, research, academic assessment and academic administrative direction of programmes principally in the areas of electronics and computer engineering.

A specific requirement of this post is programme delivery on site at a partner University in China. Expenses will be paid to support travel and subsistence. Applicants should consider their visa arrangements (if applicable) in advance of applying.

Qualifications

An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant Level 8 degree [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)], or equivalent.
Three years relevant post-qualification experience.

Salary

Assistant Lecturer Salary Scale is Salary Scale €43,073 to €58,726 (10 points).

Candidates may be considered for incremental credit above point 1 of the scale for previous relevant industry experience in accordance with University Policy.
