Description of Post
Following an HEA initiative, the Faculty of Science is developing a new five year integrated M.Pharm. This is an opportunity for an academic to influence a new programme’s development from its inception. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Pharmacy.
We are looking to appoint a Lecturer with experience in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice to support our new M.Pharm. programme. Ideally the appointee should have experience in the Higher Education sector in Pharmacy clinical practice, practice placement and planning of placements, regulatory compliance in Irish or European/EU settings, and relevant pedagogical approaches in Pharmacy teaching.

Qualifications
- An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant Level 8 degree [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)], or equivalent.
- Three years relevant post-qualification experience.
Salary
Salary Scale €63,518 to €98,278 (11 points)
Candidates may be considered for incremental credit above point 1 of the scale for previous relevant industry experience in accordance with University Policy.
