Over the last five years ULMS has engaged in extensive recruitment of academic and professional services staff, expanding into a state-of-the-art extension adjacent to the Georgian quarter of Liverpool, including a trading room and a marketing suite. The School now has over 230 academic staff supported by 90 professional services colleagues. The Work, Organisation and Management group is now seeking to appoint an individual as Lecturer at Grade 8 (equivalent to Assistant Professor) with research interests consistent with the area of Organisational Psychology.  The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in the area of organisational psychology, with an emerging publishing track record demonstrating an ability to publish in the highest quality academic outlets. Candidates will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating capacity to sustain and extend a high level of output.  Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate some experience of teaching. The group seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability and enthusiasm to enhance student experience are required skills for the post-holder. Knowledge of the particular needs of international students would be an advantage. Ability to guide and supervise students’ independent learning is also important.
