Exeter College proposes, if there are suitable candidates, to appoint two Stipendiary Lecturers in Physics. These are fixed-term roles, tenable from 1 October 2024 until 30 September 2025, and the postholders will teach Physics to undergraduate students.
[The College will alternatively consider appointing one person to cover both posts as a single Lecturership, if there is a suitable candidate. Applicants should feel free to indicate this preference as part of their application.]
The Lecturers will each be required to undertake 72 ‘weighted’ hours per annum of tutorial or class teaching of undergraduates of the College (or, by exchange, undergraduates of other Colleges). In addition, they will be required to set and mark College examinations, to participate as required in the undergraduate Admissions process and Access/ Outreach activities, and to participate fully in the running of Physics within the College.
