35 Nominal Weekly hours. We actively encourage agile/flexible working in line with the delivery requirements of each of our roles. This role requires attendance at our Canada Water Campus 3 times a week

Your role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter to join the TEDI-London team as our Admissions Conversion Administrator. We are committed to elevating the applicant experience – your role will be pivotal in achieving this.

We are looking for a great communicator to join the Admissions team, confident in working with different stakeholders with the ability to tailor your style to audience needs. Passionate about guiding applicants from varied backgrounds on their journey to TEDI-London, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to cultivate a diverse community of engineering students. As well as strong inter-personal skills you will need to maintain accurate admissions records and so accuracy and attention to detail are also key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic and professional handling of enquiries by prospective students and others. This can be via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), telephone, email, WhatsApp.
  • Communicate with applicants and offer holders via phone, email, WhatsApp, LiveChat and record information accurately on our CRM.
  • Provide information on our admissions and enrolment process; booking in slots for offer holders to speak with academics and student ambassadors, attend Open Days or tours.
  • Ensure admission records are complete and accurate, entering student data/information onto our SRS and generating reports as required.
  • Meeting face-to-face with students to give general support and advice and providing support and a presence for open days, graduation and similar events.

ABOUT YOU 

For this role you will have:

Skills and Knowledge 

  • You’ll be an excellent communicator and keen to be flexible, contributing to a small collaborative team
  • Proficient in MS Office with the aptitude to learn to use new digital products and applications such as Microsoft teams, SharePoint and Dynamics
  • Enthusiastic and flexible mindset with a commitment to maximising the student experience
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships within direct team and wider TEDI-London colleagues and across teams
  • Passionate about Higher Education, continuous professional learning and development in order to facilitate your own development
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, absorbing changing priorities and willing to take initiative as and when required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience of working in a customer focused role

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a Higher Education/ FE environment
  • Experience of UCAS from an institutional perspective
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering continuous improvements, using lessons learned to drive service and process enhancement
  • Understanding of the UK education system and qualifications frameworks

Qualifications:

  • GCSE grade 5 or above in Maths and English Language.
