Salary from £50,606 to £58,505 per annum inclusive with potential to progress to £65,157 pa inclusive of London allowance

We are seeking to recruit two Careers Education Managers (CEMs) to oversee activities aimed at developing career management and employability skills among LSE students and alumni.

The post-holders (along with a third CEM) share responsibility for designing and planning careers education within academic departments and as part of the centrally delivered core offer, including one-on-one appointments. They collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Students’ Union, SLPD, and PAGE to enhance professional development initiatives.

The Careers Education Managers lead, in collaboration, a team of careers consultants, managing their workload, performance, and professional development.

Candidates should have:

• Proven experience of working in a role involving careers education in a higher education setting
• Sound understanding of the graduate and post-graduate labour market in the UK and internationally
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and support team members, including by providing feedback, planning and prioritising workloads, and enabling professional development
• Proven experience of proactively developing services and/or processes to improve the design and delivery of careers education activities, particularly from a user’s perspective.
