About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic candidate to manage the administration of our courses here at AECC, ensuring that our processes from enrolment through to award are effective and efficient and contribute to an excellent experience for our students.
The role is based within Registry, which is responsible for the management of the student lifecycle and core student administration functions, from application through to graduation, whilst establishing and maintaining standards of quality assurance and compliance with policies, procedures, and external statutory obligations.
Reporting to the Deputy Academic Registrar, the postholder will oversee the day-to-day running of course administration throughout the academic year, ensuring an efficient and effective operation of course administration across a complex and diverse portfolio of courses with multiple intake points.
About the person
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high standards and who can work effectively with both academic and professional services staff to ensure that we are providing the best possible service to our students.
You will have excellent organisational skills, helping to ensure that the busy annual cycle of support for the academic year runs smoothly. Your experience and knowledge of course administration in HE will mean that you become a trusted source of advice for your team and others in the University College. In addition, you will bring a high level of data capability and an appreciation of the role that student systems play in our processes. You will be highly personable, collegiate in approach and keen to work with like-minded individuals to further innovate and improve the way we do things for the benefit of staff and students alike.
