Academic Registry are looking for a well organised, pro-active, and self-motivated individual to join the Registry Data Management and Training Team as Registry Team Leader. This role is responsible for operating processes and other activities to oversee and improve the quality and timeliness of course, module and student data held on corporate student IT systems.

As part of a wider Student Returns and Data Management Team, you will be providing essential leadership for the delivery of our service. Your focus will be on data quality and integrity within the Student Record System. You will be able to identify inconsistencies in large datasets, and work with colleagues across Academic Registry to devise solutions to these data inaccuracies though the design and creation of Systems Training both online and face to face delivery. You will be given the opportunity to work with data and management information that influences internal strategic decisions and is returned to external statutory bodies.

The post holder will work cooperatively and flexibly with staff across all teams within the Academic Registry to proactively contribute to continuous improvement activities, and deliver an excellent service. You will liaise with academic members of staff at the University, and colleagues working across the University’s other professional services. 

The successful candidate must have experience of delivering high quality customer service and line managing or supervision of staff; and experience in Higher or Further Education administration should include expertise in working with complex databases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise your own work, and adhere to deadlines set.
