Scholarships available

The following scholarships are available for outstanding applications for the 2024/25 academic year. These scholarships are designed to support and develop excellent academic research.

  • Huddersfield Business School Open Scholarship

This scholarship is open to both UK and international candidates. The Open Scholarship covers a full fee waiver for all successful applicants, and an annual stipend of £3,500 (FT PGRs), which is reduced to 50% (i.e., £1,750 annually) for PT PGRs. The stipend is subject to PGR candidates making satisfactory academic progress and engaging fully with the research programme.

  • Chancellor’s Anniversary Scholarship

This competitive scholarship provides 100% tuition fee waiver scholarship to UK resident candidates, and 50% fee waivers to international candidates.

Qualifications and person specification

We are looking for UK and international candidates with a clear interest in their proposed topic, a strong academic background, with a distinction at MSc in a relevant field, and the potential to develop their research skills.

If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.5 overall with no element lower than 6.0, or equivalent.
