Background
The gut microbiome has an important role in human health and disease. Increasingly the gut microbiome has been linked to mental well-being and acuity. In this project we aim to characterise the gut microbiome of a cohort of healthy individuals and to correlate taxonomic data with the outcomes of psychological tests.
