The Faculty finance team of two Grade 5, three Grade 4 and one Grade 3 accounts clerks receive and check up to 6000 invoices, 2000 expenses claims and 700 UPS payment forms a year, raise up to 1,000 purchase orders and several hundred AR invoices a year, respond to queries from the full range of Faculty staff and report to budget holders for grant and non-grant account.
The Grade 4 Senior Accounts Clerk is to provide a Finance administration services within the Faculty in order to contribute to the day to day working of Faculty finances.
In addition they will support the Finance Coordinator and Finance Manager by carrying out routine monthly processes and reporting to PIs and budget holders across the Faculty and act as a contact point for queries from budget holders and Department administrators.
The successful candidate will be Educated to A level standard / NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience.
