About the Role

The Adult, Community, and ESOL Team delivers a range of exciting courses to our diverse learners in the heart of our community. From Maths and English to flower arranging and dressmaking, there is something for everyone!

To support the department we are recruiting for either x2 two Part-Time/Job share or would consider a Full-time School Admin Officer to support the curriculum team.  We would consider job shares also for this role.  Further details about the hours will be be discussed at the interview stage.

One post will be based at Enfield Campus, which is located conveniently between Chapeltown, Harehills and Burmantoft.  The other post will be at Deacon House, which is based in Seacroft.  Both campuses are easily accessible by public transport.

We are  looking for committed and vibrant professionals who are able to engage with and support our learners.  Never worked in a college? That's okay! We are looking for your skills, experience, and ability to make our students feel welcome in our centres. 

What You Will Do

  • Support the curriculum administration for an identified area of the schools activity including systems and processes.
  • Support student enrolments within the School and work with the central MIS/Marketing teams throughout enrolment periods.
  • Ensure appropriate systems are in place to manage electronic files.
  • Work collaboratively with other schools to ensure a coordinated approach to relevant systems and processes including cover and support, catering for fluctuating workloads and absences.
  • Support the School with Curriculum Planning including timetabling, course profiling.

About You

  • Relevant Qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Relevant Customer service qualification or training.
  • Literacy and numeracy qualification at Level 2 or above.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused role/environment.
  • Experience of using data to drive developments.
  • Experience of keeping student records up to date, including timetabling and registers.
  • Experience of enrolment process.
