The Role

The team’s primary objective is to achieve agreed student recruitment targets and contribute to the whole University’s recruitment and admissions functions ensuring good ROI and a first-class student experience throughout the applicant journey.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the purpose of this role is to research, plan and manage marketing projects, processes and campaigns in order to support the University in meeting its student recruitment targets.

The Person

Working as part of a team of marketing advisors, the post holder will lead on assigned projects, including the planning and production of marketing campaigns and the production, curation and distribution of publications and content across digital and traditional channels.

The post holder will develop expert knowledge of Kingston’s brand positioning, value proposition and target audiences, as well as the undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment cycles. They will work flexibly, contributing across all areas of the wider marketing, student recruitment and events team, which will involve working events, and supporting and collaborating on the wider team’s objectives.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Students attracts and supports an inclusive student body, ensuring students become sought-after graduates through career enhancement and a focus on wellbeing.

Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home, EU and overseas students.

It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions. This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services. Together we are committed to widening access and improving customer service across the entire applicant journey.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £37,646 per annum.
