Job description
We are looking for an early career researcher with an interest in family dynamics and social development, intergenerational transmission, or gene-environment interplay to work with existing data from the TRAILS and TRAILS NEXT study. The focus of the research is flexible within the larger context of social development but should show some connection to the research in the ERC Starting Grant project CAPE (https://kretschmertina.wordpress.com/erc-cape/) or the ERC Consolidator Grant project PAR2 (https://kretschmertina.wordpress.com/erc-cog-par2/) or the research of Prof. Tina Kretschmer more generally. The postdoctoral researcher should also take an active role in the research group, including contributing to research meetings, writing retreats, and mentoring PhD researchers on a day to day basis. Depending on experience and timing, there might be the possibility to contribute to a new project on social network influence on parenting, with options to realize own research ideas.
The position offers the opportunity to develop your own research line in the environment of a successful group, network, expand your methodological skills, be mentored in applying for research funding, and gain further experience in writing up research for publication, mostly in developmentally oriented journals.
