Senior Accounts Clerk

Applications are invited for a highly meticulous and motivated individual to join our busy finance team in the Department of Medicine.

The Department of Medicine is one of the largest within the School of Clinical Medicine and is based in various buildings across the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The Department houses 4 sections, with around 500 active grants across them. The current research grant portfolio is in excess of £220M with over 300 new grant applications last year.

Working as a key part of the small team, reporting to the Accounts Manager, your focus will be mainly transactional, including (but not limited to) performing reconciliations, invoicing both internally and externally, journals and ad-hoc administration of the department's finances. You will also become a key contact for general accounts queries, dealing with various levels of personnel both finance and non-finance.
