We are seeking an experienced administrator / facilitator for the STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training (https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/stor-i/), a joint endeavour between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science. You will be responsible for the management of a range of externally facing activities and initiatives within the Centre. Example activities include the coordination of the Centre’s recruitment and publicity processes and the day-to-day running of its internship programme. You will be required to take ownership of these roles and ensure a high quality of service to the Centre.

You will require the ability to build strong relationships at all levels through excellent communication skills, have a track record of strategic thinking and initiative taking; provide evidence of your high quality and efficient organisational and administrative skills; possess the capacity to play an integral role in the Centre’s support team and be an advanced level user of Microsoft Office. You will also have a proven track record of, or show the potential for, being proactive in the coordination of a large range of activities and for developing publicity materials.

This is a 0.6 FTE appointment for 12 months.

It would be an excellent development opportunity for those seeking a secondment.
