This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus (Streatham Campus) and some from home.
Summary of the role
Following the award of £5 million from Research England (UKRI) to deliver the Developing Business-Aware Academics project, the project team are seeking a Project Support Officer. Led by the University’s Business School, the project is a partnership with the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) and five other Business Schools. It will pilot and evaluate a range of initiatives aimed at helping doctoral and early-career researchers to develop the business awareness and competencies that improve innovation, knowledge exchange and mobility across academia and industry. This is a four-year project running from July 2023 to June 2027.
The Project Support Officer will deliver efficient and effective administrative and financial support to the project and all team members. They will deliver the day-to-day project co-ordination, supporting the Project Officer and the Project Manager to deliver the different aspects of the project to a high level.
The post-holder will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the values, purpose and objectives of the project and to ensure that these are reflected in the delivery of an excellent administrative service. They will need to have a commitment to achieving consistently high standards of administration, project support and customer service and be comfortable working proactively with an evolving and exploratory project supporting multiple partners.
The interviews are expected to be held on 24th April in person on the Streatham Campus.
