About the role
The IgA Nephropathy Research Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Technician with extensive experience in performing Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISAs) to join their research team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting research projects and ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory. Responsibilities include carrying out in-house and commercial Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISAs), recording and analysing the results. Additionally, this role involves presenting data to the research team and collaborators. Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft programmes such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
About you
To be considered the ideal candidate for this role, you should have undergone technical or scientific education to ONC or NVQ3 level and have proven experience in performing Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISAs), as well as working with clinical samples. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently is essential. Furthermore, strong organisational and interpersonal skills will be highly valued.
