The School of Biological Sciences together with The Institute for Global Food Security (IGFS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional academic at either the Reader or Senior Lecturer level working at the Big Data / Parasitology interface. Specifically, the appointee would be expected to demonstrate excellent productivity in the modelling and or bioinformatics areas as they pertain to parasitology. This could include, but is not limited to: systems biology/informatics approaches to enhance understanding of parasite biology, evolution or parasite-host interplay; or modelling approaches to inform human and/or animal parasite infections in a one health context.

They will support the School and Institute in providing high-quality student support in line with our teaching and learning strategy, fully utilising digital innovative platforms.
