We are looking for a full-time Lecturer post in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy to join the Dental team in School of Dentistry, based at the Heath Park. 

This is an exciting opportunity to start or continue your career in teaching and scholarship as an Oral Health Professional.  Within our strong academic teaching structure, you will be supported in achieving the highest standards of education for our undergraduate students.  You will follow our staff-development pathway within the arena of academic dentistry, with opportunities for career progression, tailored for you. 

We are looking for an individual who is seeking a career in Academia, is passionate about Oral Health and patient care, an enthusiastic teacher and who wants to help shape future clinicians.  You should be well organised, and able to work as part of a team, showing leadership qualities or leadership potential. You will be required to take an active role in shaping our undergraduate programmes.

Applicants should hold full General Dental Council registration as a Dental Therapist.

The successful candidate will be awarded an appropriate honorary contract by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and will have the opportunity to treat their own patients as part of the role
