Applications are invited for the position of Research Grant Coordinator within the Business Operations Team in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences.

What we will give you

You will be given responsibility to supervise and lead our grants team, and in doing so will play a pivotal role in the valuable research conducted into Neurological disorders by the Department's investigators and students.


You will gain exposure to grant management in the University, the systems that support this and interaction with the Cambridge finance and grant community.


You will benefit from considerable external exposure through regular liaison with funders, collaborators and industrial partners.


You will have opportunity to develop, both personally and professionally, through appropriate training events and interactions, and you will have the opportunity to learn more about professional services at the University and how they support research outputs.

What we will expect

We will ask you to provide a comprehensive and efficient grant management service for existing grants and for all new applications, coordinating both pre-award and post-award activity. You will receive support to do this from the Senior Finance Coordinator, the Business Operations Managers and staff in the Research Operations Office 

We expect you to have a keen eye for detail, to be a confident communicator, to ask questions and to demonstrate a willingness to learn. If this sounds like you, then we would like to hear from you.

The role is based on the Biomedical Campus and successful appointees will be able to adopt our hybrid working model, managing your time between onsite and home working.
