The role holder will be part of the Placements Team which plays a key role within Employability Services.The Placement Officer is responsible for the day-to-day running of various formats of placements (including short term placements that are part of Workplace Learning modules and the Placement Year). The key focus of the role is to source, co-ordinate and support the provision of appropriate placements which align to the academic requirements of particular modules, the individual student's career aspirations, their experience and skills.
We are seeking a person with a genuine interest in providing a positive student experience, who has the ability to understand complex processes and regulations, form relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, thrive in a team environment and work effectively to prescribed deadlines.
