Repurposing of the existing pipelines under the hydrogen innovation workstream is an important objective to fulfil the energy transition objective. Transportation of gas blends in pipelines needs methodical evaluations under the varying operating conditions for the onshore and offshore UKCS energy sector. This hydrogen innovation project will aim to identify the optimal conditions of gaseous pipeline transport under the static and dynamic conditions, the transport process involving the material compatibility using the numerical simulations and data analytical tools.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £31,396 per annum for 6 months for a Research Assistant. This post will be working 100%.
Alternatively if you hold a PhD we would appoint at Grade 6, £37,099 per annum pro rata working 90%. Actual rate of pay £33,389.10 per annum.
