This is a fixed term, specified purpose, whole-time position over 3.5 years, initially reporting to the Vice President of Research, Development and Innovation.
This specialist post holder will play an important role in leading a range of initiatives focused on the delivery of IADT’s Research and Innovation Strategy and the day-to-day management and implementation of the ELEVATE programme, the goal of which is to elevate regional research and innovation activity for IADT.
The post holder will be responsible for a range of duties to include the day-to-day running of the ELEVATE programme, supervision of project staff and their work packages, a range of operational activities, reporting on project deliverables and coordination of various cultural and academic activities.
The appointee must have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills and experience working across major projects. They must be able to work independently, manage competing demands and prioritise tasks effectively.

About Elevate
ELEVATE is funded under the TU Research and Innovation Supporting Enterprise scheme (TU RISE). The purpose of the scheme is to establish, strengthen, and systemise the IADT research and innovation office to enable greater and more structured engagement with local and regional enterprises and community stakeholders. ELEVATE focuses on the Creative and Cultural Sector and Industries (CCSI). The aim is to strengthen research capacity, accelerate commercial applications, and align with Smart Specialisation Strategy and Regional Enterprise Plans. The project envisions creating a research and innovation ecosystem, emphasising Technology and Policy for the CCSI, sustainable innovation, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
The TU RISE scheme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EDRF Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-27 and the Northern & Western Regional Programme 2021-2027, and recipients of TU RISE funding must adhere to the communication requirements for their relevant region in line with Articles 22 (3) and 50 (1) (e) of the Common Provisions Regulations 2021/1060.
