About School
The School of Communication and Information Engineering at Shanghai University is an important base for education and scientific research in the fields of communication, electronics and information. The school involves the Department of Communication Engineering, the Department of Electronic Information Engineering, the Optical Fiber Research Institute of SHU, and the Shanghai Institute of Electronic Physics. At present, 11 national-level talent researchers and 41 provincial-level talent researchers are working here. The school owns Shanghai Key Laboratory of Specialty Fiber Optics and Optical Access Networks, Shanghai Advanced Optical Waveguide Intelligent Manufacturing and Testing Professional Technical Service Platform, provincial and ministry co-construction of key laboratory of the Ministry of Education, province of state key laboratory cultivation base construction, the base under the “Overseas Expertise Introduction Project for Discipline Innovation” (111Project), etc. More details can be found on the college’s official website: https://scie.shu.edu.cn/
