The University of Sunderland in London, based at Canary Wharf, boasts a vibrant and diverse community of staff and students. We consider ourselves as an innovative satellite campus, constantly evolving with exciting plans for 2024 and beyond! We have just launched a pilot for a four-day working week and later this year we will be moving to a new, modern campus building adjacent to our current location offering a bright and spacious learning and working environment.

Student Administration department oversees essential functions related to Records and Programme Administration, Timetabling, Graduation, and Quality. The work of the department is integral to the entire student journey, spanning from enrolment to graduation, significantly contributing to the overall student experience and success.

Quality Enhancement is responsible for the strategic and operational academic governance and enhancement of London programmes, ensuring university regulation, policy and procedures are adhered to.

 The strategic area of Quality Enhancement will focus on the development, review and approval of programmes unique to the University of Sunderland in London. This will involve identifying and implementing enhancement initiatives in quality assurance practice and procedure for the University of Sunderland in London.

You will support the operational area of Quality Enhancement and will focus on ensuring that regulations, policies and procedures are followed in relation to student cases, committee serving and liaising with external staff. This will include extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct, academic appeals, programme enhancement plan, programme studies boards and external examiners.

To excel in this position, you will have proven experience in an administrative environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and have high attention to detail.  We are looking for a skilled administrator with excellent interpersonal and communications skills. You will have strong customer focus and be committed to delivering a high level of service to students and staff at all times.
