We are looking for an Assistant Administrator to work within the new Maxwell Centre, providing support to its varied community, including academics, students, industrial partners and liaison officers. This position is an excellent opportunity for a driven, conscientious individual to develop their skills and experience. The main aim of this role is to work with the Maxwell Centre Administrator to ensure the Maxwell Centre operation on the academia-industry interface runs smoothly and provide daily administrative support to its occupants and external stakeholders.
The Maxwell Centre is hosted in a £26M state of the art building in the heart of the West Cambridge campus. It operates from within the Physics department but is serving as a gateway to Cambridge Physical Sciences and Technology overall, linking through to several departments as well as outwards to industry and businesses of any size. This appointment will provide daily administrative support for the Centre; in due course offering opportunities to be proactively involved in administration related initiatives and projects.
