Full-time, fixed-term position until 31/03/2025.
Applications are invited for a Research Associate position to conduct research in the areas of communications networks within the Signal Processing and Networks research group at Loughborough University. The focus will be on the development of machine learning methods and signal processing algorithms to enable optimised network slicing in 6G networks.
Applicants must have a PhD (or about to obtain a doctoral degree soon) in Electronic Engineering or in a relevant field and research experience in signal processing or wireless communications or machine learning.
Familiarity with wireless communications, machine learning, convex optimization, network performance analyses and end-to-end slice orchestration and management would be an advantage.
Candidates should have a strong publication record with extensive experience in publishing research findings in international journals and conference proceedings. Good programming skills and experience in MATLAB and Python programming are essential.
