Job description
The Health Service & Population Research Department is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Administrator to support an international research project led by Professor Craig Morgan.
The International Research Programme on Psychoses in Diverse Settings (INTREPID) project is a 5-year international research programme funded by the MRC. The goal of the programme is to transform our knowledge of and responses to psychotic disorders globally by: (1) delivering novel research programmes on medium-term course and outcomes, homeless populations, and putative mechanisms of risk and relapse, (2) establishing a global study catalogue and data sharing platform, and (3) implementing a structured set of activities in each setting to ensure findings inform the development, and ultimately testing, of bespoke interventions.
The postholder will work closely with the Project Coordinator and Project Lead, providing high quality administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day activities.
The role is suitable for someone who can effectively manage competing priorities, has good attention to detail and is able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
This post will be offered on a part-time (40% FTE) fixed-term contract for 1 year.
Key responsibilities
The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
