The International Research Programme on Psychoses in Diverse Settings (INTREPID) project is a 5-year international research programme funded by the MRC. The goal of the programme is to transform our knowledge of and responses to psychotic disorders globally by: (1) delivering novel research programmes on medium-term course and outcomes, homeless populations, and putative mechanisms of risk and relapse, (2) establishing a global study catalogue and data sharing platform, and (3) implementing a structured set of activities in each setting to ensure findings inform the development, and ultimately testing, of bespoke interventions.

The role is suitable for someone who can effectively manage competing priorities, has good attention to detail and is able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues.

This post will be offered on a part-time (40% FTE) fixed-term contract for 1 year.

  • Managing the financial transactions of the research project including processing orders, invoices and expenses.
  • Supporting the Research Grants team in preparing financial reports to the funder including collating and ensuring accurate completion of research timesheets.
  • Providing financial reporting to the project lead.

The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
