Summary of Post
Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is seeking an ambitious individual to join our growing statistical community, working collaboratively with research teams locally, nationally and internationally.

This post within ExeCTU is available from June 2024 on an open-ended basis subject to funding. The post is available at 1.0FTE; however, part-time employment may be considered. Hybrid or remote working patterns may be considered.

We are open to recruiting either a Postdoctoral Research Associate or Fellow, depending on experience. Please read the attached job descriptions carefully for the differences between the roles. Please indicate in your application which role you wish to be considered for.

Working as part of the ExeCTU, you will work with senior statisticians to provide expert statistical support to research projects, including clinical trials, and other research within the Faculty. Post holders will provide high-quality statistical input to a range of research applications/projects/activities and work on a variety of study types, including randomised controlled trials, cluster randomised trials and systematic reviews with meta-analyses. You will also participate in methodological research studies addressing statistical challenges.the Faculty of Health and Science, including the NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre. The post holder will provide high-quality statistical input to a range of research applications/projects/activities and work on a variety of study types, including randomised controlled trials. You will also participate in methodological research studies addressing statistical challenges.

Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is a UKCRC-registered, University of Exeter supported Unit. ExeCTU works in collaboration with researchers and clinicians in the design and delivery of high quality and efficient multi-centre trials and other well-designed studies addressing important health questions to improve health and well-being. Our study portfolio includes trials in dementia, mental health, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, medicinal drugs, surgical techniques and complex interventions.
