Are you interested in working for a top-ranked Management School? We are seeking applications from highly motivated individuals to play a key role within the Management School, with responsibility for managing the Student Experience elements of our Student and Programme Support. Improving this is central to the School’s strategy and this postholder will take lead responsibility for developing and ensuring the implementation of policies and procedures, and coordinating activities across the School in the area of student experience, wellbeing and voice. The postholder will have line management responsibility for Learning & Teaching Officer and Senior Programme Administrator and will play an active role as part of the School’s professional leadership team. This role was suit someone with a strong interest in being proactive in enhancing the enhancing the student experience.

You will be educated to degree level standard (or equivalent work experience/ qualifications) and you will have previous experience in a managerial role, with experience of delivery of high-quality customer services within a complex organisation.  Previous involvement in process design and improvement and developing and implementing administrative systems and service improvements is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with a team to achieve high quality service delivery, and of reviewing individual progress and performance. Previous familiarity in working with higher education students would be an advantage.

You will work as part of our Programme and Student Support team who provide support for all our undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes and students, the student experience, curriculum and assesment. The team works alongside our wider professional services team of 80 staff, supporting activities such as data and accreditation, finance and operations, employability, external relations, marketing and student recruitment. There are opportunities to explore other areas of the professional services, and to progress within the School and University.
