Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of computing professionals? We're seeking a dedicated Computing Lecturer to join our team and contribute to the success of our students. Some of the Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Development: Take the lead in developing engaging and effective curriculum materials, ensuring that learning objectives are met and student achievement is accurately assessed and recorded.

  2. Programme Management: Contribute to the management of learning programmes, ensuring quality assurance and providing guidance and support to students through effective assessment methods, coaching, mentoring, and administration.

  3. Course Leadership and Research: Play a key role in course verification, leadership, and research/consultancy activities, contributing to the enhancement of the overall learning experience.

  4. Subject Area Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop specific subject areas, coordinate course teams, and ensure the smooth delivery of curriculum content, timetabling, and day-to-day operations.

  5. Accountability: Take on increasing levels of responsibility by coordinating course teams and students within a specific programme area, ensuring the effective delivery of curriculum and maintaining high standards.

  6. Teaching and Assessment: Manage the classroom environment effectively, delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions across a range of further and higher education courses. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

This role is permanent, part time (4 days per week, potentially full time role but this will be confirmed at the interview stage)
