About the Role
This role will involve supporting research groups within Barts Cancer Institute to perform proteomics experiments. In addition, the role will carry out cell biological experiments including cell culture, cell-based assays, and pharmacological experiments. Altogether this role is an exciting and important opportunity to provide a critical service while also providing a large scope for independent development of new technology, and guiding the further development of the Barts Cancer Institute proteomics laboratory.
About You
You will have a MSc in a related subject, and you may have existing experience of technical roles supporting proteomics or cell based assays. You will have an interest in cancer biochemistry and proteomics and a strong desire to work collaboratively and with independence at times to develop the facility and introduce and support additional new technological applications relevant to proteomics technologies.
