Job Description

Are you a highly motivated data analyst? We are a contract research organisation that conducts regulatory science research to evaluate the public health impact of tobacco products. We are seeking an analyst to join our team in Glasgow. Our work is all about research within a dynamic team in an often time-critical, high-pressure environment. If successful, you would be working in a supportive research environment with an attractive salary package which includes an incentive-based bonus scheme.

To be successful you must have experience:

• Analysing data in SPSS (data cleaning, creating derived variables, creating syntax)
• Preparing scientific study reports
• Presenting study methodology, results, and interpretation of findings to a variety of audience

We’d really like to hear from you if you also have experience:

• Population survey design and analysis of survey data
• Publishing studies in peer-reviewed journals
• Writing study proposals
• Working in the tobacco harm reduction space

This role is initially available for 3 years. We offer a generous Royal London Insurance pension, life insurance, and private health insurance. We work from a beautiful townhouse conversion office in the West End of Glasgow. We are office-based, except on a Friday when you can work from home. We also have a friendly office dog.
