The Role

The Economics subject area has developed strengths both in the undertaking of high calibre academic research, and in applying that knowledge to problems relevant to business audiences and public policy makers. The four areas of focus within the group are competition policy; industrial economics; strategic business behaviour; the global macroeconomy and economic integration in Europe.
The Faculty Assistant plays a key role in supporting the teaching, research and administrative activities of the Economics Department. Providing assistance to assigned faculty whilst working closely with members of the administrative team, within and outside the department to provide a high-quality experience to students, faculty and staff.
Please note, this is a part-time role (28 hours per week) and during the probation period this role will require full on-site attendance. Thereafter, this role will be based on-campus 3 days per week.
