An exciting role has arisen for a HR Service Team Adviser to join the HR Service Team within the People and Culture Division at an incredibly exciting time.

Working within a busy HR Service Team you will play a key role in providing an efficient, effective and customer focused HR service to staff and managers on all policies and procedures as well as supporting the HR Business Partnering team with routine administration. You will be able to use your judgement and initiative to answer queries and provide solutions, whilst building relationships with staff across the University.

As we look to streamline and automate processes, you will have the opportunity to feed into process improvements and help create a service of excellence, providing a proactive and timely response.    

You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience working in an administrative role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential as is a willingness to change and develop work practices.

You will have a proactive and solution focused approach, acting with diplomacy and empathy in sensitive situations and with resilience when required. Previous experience working in an HR environment and/or within Higher Education would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
