The post
The School for Public Health Environments Research at Exeter (SPHERE) wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate to perform project-related research with a focus on data-led methodologies. The successful candidate will work across our portfolio of responsive public health research, with a focus on quantitative methods. The postholder should be comfortable with a range of analytical methods including evaluation, evidence synthesis and observational epidemiology. They should also be prepared to deliver public involvement and engagement activities to the highest standards.

SPHERE is a highly interdisciplinary collection of researchers from across the breadth of the University’s structure. Based in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, we deliver a range of research projects across four key research programmes: Health Inequalities, Public Mental Health, Children, Young People and Families and Healthy Places, Healthy Planet as well as anticipated cross-cutting projects on public understanding and data-driven insights. About you
Applicants will possess a relevant Masters, PhD or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of public health/health inequalities and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within this NIHR SPHR Health Inequalities research project.
