This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Business School’s Academic Integrity and Assessments Team to ensure the delivery of professional and administrative support at a high level for academic appeals, complaints, academic misconduct, extenuating circumstances and marks processing for all taught UK Business School programmes. 

The roles will work within established procedures to provide a range of services to agreed standards. You will triage school staff and student questions on matters relating to assessments and academic integrity and support the School’s Examination Officers.

There are two fixed-term positions available for 2 years. Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week for the full-time role and 27 hours per week for the part-time role, spread over 5 days a week, with a willingness to be flexible to work outside normal office hours on occasion during assessment periods. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

The University of Nottingham supports hybrid working with arrangements agreed locally. In practice, this means the Team balances the working week with some time spent on campus and some time spent working from home to support flexibility. This recognises that individuals and teams can be effective given the choice of environment. During assessment periods, more time will be expected to be spent on campus due to the nature of the work.
