The Professional and Work-based Learning Team at the University of Nottingham have an exciting opportunity for a driven Recruitment Officer to join our team.   As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and initiating strong employer partnerships to generate numbers for our degree apprenticeship and work-based development programmes.  The role will support the administration and customer service aspect of the recruitment process, from advertising right through to contract issuing.

Development of Degree Apprenticeship provision is of strategic importance to the University and we have a comprehensive suite of programmes across our Faculties. We partner with a range of organisations from blue chip, global companies, to local SMEs to deliver teaching and learning to apprentices all over England. To help us meet our ambitious recruitment targets we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer (preferably gained in the apprenticeships sector) who can combine their target driven approach, and their knowledge and experience of the skills agenda with our outstanding research-led teaching to deliver a truly exceptional offer to industry!

The successful candidate will join a well-respected, effective and friendly employer engagement team and will take incoming enquiries, develop new leads and work with other industry facing teams at the University to manage employers and apprentices through the application process and meet the recruitment targets for each of our programmes. They will need to develop good internal relationships, become familiar with the programmes we offer, and ensure that robust evidence is collated to meet the ESFA funding Rules and to satisfy Ofsted.

This is a full time (36.25 hour), permanent position. Job share arrangements maybe considered.

Please note that from 1st May the salary scale for this level will increase to £28,152 to £34,500
