We are looking for a postdoctoral Research Fellow with experience in public health and commercial determinants of health, including but not limited to tobacco, alcohol, or ultra-processed food industries, to join a major UKRI-funded collaborative project based in the Global Health Policy Unit.
The opportunity:
You will review the available evidence regarding local authority interventions that help address commercial drivers of health inequalities, develop a typology of interventions on the basis of this mapping with the aid of stakeholder workshops, and develop a database based on identified interventions. You will also develop outputs for publication, and develop knowledge exchange and impact.
This post is fixed term for 24 months, available from June 2024
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns of not less than 0.8fte (28 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
