Mansfield College proposes to elect two non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellows from 1 October 2024 until 30 September 2026. Applicants should be engaged in funded postdoctoral research at Oxford University. Junior Research Fellows are entitled to free meals in College when the kitchens are open and membership of the Senior Common Room. The College is unable to provide study space or residential accommodation. Only applications from scholars whose interests lie within the range of subjects offered at Mansfield will be considered, i.e. Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, English, Geography, History, Human Sciences, Jurisprudence, Mathematics, Materials, Philosophy, Physics, Politics, and Theology.
The fellowships are non-stipendiary. Candidates are asked to demonstrate their financial independence with evidence of their means of funding. Where funds are applied for but not confirmed, any offer will be conditional on proof of funding being provided before the start of the fellowship.
