This is a hugely exciting time to join our communications team. In 2025, The University of Warwick turns 60 and we have ambitious plans to elevate our communications and storytelling.
Our vision is for The University of Warwick to be a loved and respected global education brand, recognised as a world class leader in education, research and innovation, locally, nationally, and internationally.
You will play a key role in helping to deliver our vision in line with Warwick’s 2030 strategic vision.
We need a passionate, creative, and collaborative communications expert to help us elevate our communications offering, bring strategic rigour to our operations, and continue to integrate our content across channels.
We communicate with millions of people through our channels, as well as driving engagement and fostering a sense of pride in the University with our staff and students.
You will be sitting right at the heart of our communications operation, which is bursting with amazing stories, people, and places. It’s a storyteller’s dream.
Corporate Communications leads on media relations, social media, employee engagement and reputation management.
You will use your expertise to help raise awareness of what we do and why it matters though our channels and grow engagement with our audiences, fostering a sense of pride in our community, and showcasing our world-leading educators and researchers.
We’re a strategic function, which works to give the University what it needs by providing high quality advice and guidance.
A lot of our work is reactive, responding to internal stakeholders and providing service to them. Identifying ways of helping balance these day-to-day service demands with longer term strategic work is an area you will help us address.
This is a complex, challenging and highly rewarding role for one of the world’s top universities.
For informal enquiries, please contact Satnam Rana-Grindley via email: Satnam.rana-grindley@warwick.ac.uk.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
Full details of the duties and selection criteria for this role can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button.
