We are seeking applications for two Clinical Teaching Fellow positions within Aston Medical School's Physician Associate Practice MSc program. Situated within the College of Health and Life Sciences, alongside esteemed programs such as MBChB and BSc Nursing, Aston Medical School offers a dynamic environment for medical education.
We welcome applications from highly experienced healthcare professionals with a wealth of experience in clinical teaching and learning. As a Clinical Teaching Fellow, you will play a pivotal role within the program, reporting to the Programme Directors and joining a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence in medical education. Our focus lies on providing an enriching student experience, with an emphasis on problem-based learning methodologies.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team of nine colleagues, contributing to the delivery of clinical skills sessions and facilitating small group problem-based learning sessions. We are a growing, ambitious department, with an emphasis on teamwork, collegiality, and making a strong, tangible contribution to the college and university with a culture in which staff and students feel supported.

We are looking for someone with qualifications and experience in healthcare. You could be a Medical Associate Professional, Doctor, Nursing or Allied Healthcare Professional. You should hold a professional registration such as GMC/NMC/HCPC or be a member of the appropriate MVR. Successful applicants will also hold or be willing to obtain Fellow status at the Academy of Higher Education. You should also have the ability to work with a range of learners, and an understanding of clinical programmes is an important attribute, as is the desire to contribute to a positive, collegiate environment, building good relationships with students, industry partners and colleagues.
