Job Overview:
University College Birmingham has a vacancy in our newly opened commercial Cakes and Bakes outlet. The successful candidate will contribute to the daily operations of Cakes and Bakes, alongside working closely in other catering areas where support is needed.
The role will include preparing and serving hot and cold food to customers and consideration of the products sold along with upselling products and obtaining customer loyalty at all times.
You must have previous experience of working in a café, with both FOH and BOH experience, excellent customer service skills and relevant Food Hygiene certification.
The post-holder will be expected to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service.
