The opportunity
We are seeking experienced administrators to join our Academic Registry team to provide administrative and customer service support to a portfolio of courses. If you are looking for the next step in your career, then this is an exciting opportunity to join us.
Academic Registry’s work covers a variety of key services across UAL’s six colleges to support students and academic teams. As a Course Support Administrator, you’re at your happiest when you’re juggling priorities and making things happen. As one of our team, you will put all of this to good use as you provide professional administrative support to our courses.
The roles are busy and varied and include everything from supporting course level communication, recording student work submissions, attendance monitoring, organising tutorials and workshops, maintaining the Programme’s Moodle pages and supporting course level activities.
We currently have vacancies at Camberwell, Chelsea, and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts and London College of Fashion. However, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team, and if any additional Course Support Administrator roles arise at our other colleges during this recruitment cycle, we will also consider you for those too.
Please note that there are three permanent roles and one fixed-term role available. The fixed-term role will be for eight months and will be based at London College of Fashion, East Bank Stratford.
As this is front line service you will be required to be on site 4 days per week during term time.
About you
We value the diversity of experience our staff bring with them. Whilst experience of working in a Higher Education setting will be helpful, we positively welcome front line customer service experience from across a range of sectors.
Key to this role will be your effective written and oral communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise work and achieve outcomes, and your collaborative approach.
Successful candidates will also be confident in the use of Microsoft applications. If you meet these requirements, the opportunities open to you at UAL are hard to beat.
If you’re also interested in other roles within Academic Registry, please see our jobs page.
Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship as UAL does not provide sponsorship for Grade 3 roles.
